FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT
The 14 International Conference of the Geological Society of Greece will take place on
25-27 May 2016, in Thessaloniki, northern Greece. GSG conferences are multidisciplinary
earth science events, focusing on the broader Aegean region and beyond.
You are cordially invited to participate in this conference; young researchers in particular
are strongly encouraged to submit their research results, as GSG 2016 will assist them in
various innovative ways. Further details will be rolling out throughout 2015.

The Institute of Astronomy, & Astrophysics, Space, Applications and Remote Sensing, of the National Observatory of Athens, is awarded the EC project
"Building Capacity for a Centre of Excellence for EO - based monitoring of Natural Disasters (BEYOND)"- Ref: 316210 - BEYOND EC project
(FP7-REGPOT-2012-2013), funded under the "SEVENTH FRAMEWORK PROGRAMME -Coordination and Support Actions Call". For this, we invite scientists to
submit their expressions of interest for the eight (8) positions, on outworking contract basis, as described in the attached call.
